We are excited to offer a Fall Baseball program in 2026. All Games will be played on Weekdays – Monday to Thursday and there are no weekend games on the schedule. Varsity games will mostly be Tuesday and Thursday. JV can be M-TH. The fall baseball program is one where players can play the game and practice in an environment of development that focuses on becoming better players for tryouts in the spring. All players interested moving into grades 8-12 in 2025 are eligible.

V and JV players will be notified of first practice and start dates here on Twitter and the website also.

Players interested in playing this fall will be required to pay a fee to play. (See below) This is because the league is a privately funded league and has costs related to it from baseballs, player insurance, umpire fees, league fees, field fees, etc. The Fall baseball teams have no affiliation with the EASD in any way. No transportation is provided and please DO NOT call the athletic office regarding anything to do with fall baseball. All contacts should be made to the coaches directly.

We will have a Varsity team that will compete against the following list of schools below. Varsity will play a minimum of 10 games with a playoff tournament at the end of the league. The JV squad will play a similar number of games. The season typically runs from September and to mid October weather permitting. Many other local high schools will be a part of the league - Freedom, Nazareth, Bethlehem Catholic, Northampton, and Central Catholic, Catasauqua, Notre Dame, and a few others possibly.

Players going into Grades 10-12 for the 2025-26 school year will be considered for varsity fall placement. 10th graders will be selected by ability for Varsity. Some players may be asked to play JV games and some varsity games at times dependent on ability and positional needs. Flexible rosters will be used. All seniors will play varsity level fall ball at times.

JV games will be scheduled as well with some of these schools and will also use Kunkle and the main Varsity field as a home field. At times we will intrasquad scrimmage as well.

JV teams will be made up of grades 9-10 primarily and we will have a limited number of spots for players entering grade 8. The fee will be $165 payable to "Easton Baseball” - players will receive the following:

League Fees as explained above.
Game shirt and hat – used for Fall games
Game tee with Easton Baseball will also be used for weight training and winter training.

Registration deadline is August 19, 2026 for sizes etc. for orders. Monies will be due by check or cash to “Easton Baseball”. Checks may be mailed to Coach LaDuca at the Athletic Office at 401 South 25th Street – Easton PA 18045 or given to Coach LaDuca personally at the varsity field on Th Aug 20 between 6-7 pm or Wed Aug 26 from 6-7 pm. If you need a financial arrangement to help your child to play Fall baseball or more time past these due dates - please email Coach LaDuca at laducac@eastonsd.org for an alternate due date for the fee.

The Easton Baseball program pauses today to recognize the passing of one of our own. Coach James “Willie” Wohlbach, Jr. who coached the Rover Baseball Teams from the mid 60’s to the early 80’s. We send our heartfelt condolences to the entire Wohlbach Family.

Baseball Hall of Fame Trip – Easton Baseball 2026
Friday April 24 and Saturday April 25, 2026

Basic Itinerary: Player Cost - $185 to Easton Baseball

Purpose. – To compete against West Chester East High School in all three levels (V/JV/JH ) on famous Doubleday Field at the Baseball Hall of Fame. Corey Webb is an Easton baseball alumni and graduate (2016) who coaches and teaches at WCE.

Bus Company – Epic Tours Charters – Emmaus PA.

Hotel – Best Western Cooperstown
50 Commons Drive – Cooperstown NY (607-547-7082)

Games: The games are scheduled as follows but MAY be CHANGED with weather conditions as the Varsity game MUST be played due to PIAA playoff implications for both schools and their opponents. All games scheduled for Doubleday Field in Cooperstown.

Friday – 1:30pm - Junior High Game
Friday - 5pm – JV
Saturday – 1:30pm – Varsity
Note: if weather presents as an issue the schedule will be shuffled!

Friday April 24, 2026

Departure will be at 7AM from EAHS
Breakfast sandwiches, milk, juice, fruit and Breakfast bars provided for players as they board the bus.
Arrival in Cooperstown for lunch on your own around 11:00-11:30pm

Tentative:
Game One – 1:30pm Doubleday Field – Junior High Game
Varsity and JV teams can tour the Baseball Hall of Fame and shop in town and watch game. The Hall of Fame is open from 9am-5pm both days. A Ticket for each player is provided.

JV and Varsity check into Hotel after 3:00pm during JH game.

Return to pick up Freshmen team at conclusion of game and bring to hotel for check in around 4:00pm – JV then returns to Doubleday to play at 5pm with V and JH coming back to watch.

Conclusion of JV game return to hotel and have meal with both teams provided by the Booster groups of both schools.

Saturday April 25:
Breakfast Free at Hotel – Other options are walkable – Bagel Shop, McDonalds etc.
Check Out 12 noon
Varsity Game will be played at 1:30pm
JV and Junior High will be able to tour Baseball Hall of Fame and town starting at 10am

At the conclusion of the game, we will depart for home approx. 4pm and arrive back in Easton around 7:30-8:00pm.

Monday March 2, 2026

All Grade 11-12 Varsity prospects along with select 10th graders who will be told - will practice at 2:45pm after school and should report to the main gym area. All players should be prepared for indoor or outdoor practice and should have baseball pants or sweatpants with a baseball hat and equipment.

Grade 9-10 will practice at 6pm - 7:30pm in the Aux gym area. You should report at 5:45pm

Grade 8 will not practice Monday or Tuesday. They should report at 5:45pm Wednesday March 4 to the gym areas for practice at 6pm.

All Grade 9-12 Players will be told the schedule each day at tryouts but should always check X and or the websites for changes that may occur due to weather.

Please look to our website this weekend for practice times and places for each grade level for tryouts next week. A lot is dependent on gym space, weather, and other factors that will determine who practices where and when.

8th grade will have their first practice on Wednesday March 4 at a time and place to be determined. They will not practice Monday or Tuesday March 2-3.

Grades 9-12 will practice starting Monday.

Zoned Sports Training for Sunday January 25 is cancelled due to the major snowstorm in the mid- Atlantic region on Sunday and dangerous conditions!

Last week's cancellation will be made up March 1, 2026.

This cancellation is TBD on how and when it will be made up. More information will be distributed to the players at next Sunday's session Feb. 1, 2026. We look forward to getting back at it Sunday Feb. 1! Please be safe during this storm!

2. Please wear baseball gear and have all equipment with you. Wear Easton Baseball related gear if possible. Shorts, Baseball Pants, and or Sweats are all ok and wear a baseball hat. Those who played fall baseball should wear their game shirt and shorts and hats given to them.

3. Please DO NOT enter the facility until 11:20 am due to other teams' use of the facility and please then wait in the lobby area until instructed to enter the baseball area. Workouts will begin promptly at 11:30 and end promptly at 1pm.
